Granola

If you would like to try to add more plants in your diet or trying to figure out where to start. You could start by converting your breakfast menu to plant based breakfasts. I will give some ideas for Breakfast each day this week.

Granola

1 cup sliced almonds

5 cups oats

1 cup shredded coconut

1 cup raisins (optional)

1/4 cup sesame seeds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup flax seeds

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

1-2 tsp vanilla

1-2 tsp cinnamon

Bake on sheets at 170 degrees for 1-2 hours stirring every 30 minutes OR

in a dehydrator on 145 degrees for 4-8 hours

Serve with a plant milk or on top of a smoothie and fresh berries or sliced bananas.
