- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon sucanat or coconut sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup nondairy milk
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 1. mix all of the dry ingredients together.
- 2. Mix the milk and applesauce together.
- 3. Mix the wet with the dry but do not overmix.
- 4. Preheat Waffle iron.
- 5. Cook the waffles.
