Whole Wheat Waffles

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon sucanat or coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup nondairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • 1. mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  • 2. Mix the milk and applesauce together.
  • 3. Mix the wet with the dry but do not overmix.
  • 4. Preheat Waffle iron.
  • 5. Cook the waffles.
